184 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 196 of 13 October 1998, he has received further correspondence in relation to the right-of-way; if he has satisfied himself that the letter issued by the Land Commission in March 1995 did not serve to conceal the existence of the Land Commission memorandum of 27 August 1977, the contents of which had been communicated as fact to a Member of the Oireachtas. I have received further correspondence in relation to this matter and a reply will be issued shortly. I am satisfied that no attempt was made to conceal the existence of the internal memorandum of August 1977 and I am satisfied that the letter of March 1995 issued by the Land Commission set out in full the position of title to the land.
