93 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Public Enterprise when the Bill to provide for an up to date regulatory regime in relation to the development of telecommunications infrastructure will be published. [24493/98]
A Bill entitled the Telecommunications (Infrastructure) Bill aimed at updating the present regulatory regime in relation to the development of telecommunications infrastructure is being drafted in my Department.
The final decision on the contents of the Bill will be made in consultation with my Cabinet colleagues and I hope to be in a position to bring the final draft of the Bill to Government for approval shortly.
