254 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the availability of home exchange programmes between elderly and young people in Finland and in the city of Hanover, Germany; if his Department has visited these schemes or received reports on their operation; and his views on the possible application of these schemes in Ireland. I have not seen details of the programmes referred to by the Deputy but I will have any information which the Deputy wishes to furnish to me examined and followed up as appropriate in my Department.
