166 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position in relation to an application for a sheep headage grant by a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and when payment will issue in this regard. [26411/98]
Following digitising of the area declared on her 1998 area aid application, the person named overdeclared the area in question, resulting in an overclaim of more than 20 per cent. Under the EU Regulations the Department is not permitted to make any 1998 area aid based livestock payments in this case. The person named has been informed accordingly.
