Vol. 500 No. 2

Written Answers. - School Staffing.

Liam Lawlor

Question:

198 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will consider the allocation of additional resources and staffing to St. Ronan's national school, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, in view of the serious difficulties currently being encountered at the school. [3863/99]

I am aware of a submission from the board of management of St. Ronan's national school which details a range of difficulties faced by the school.

I am arranging to have my Department's inspectorate visit the school to investigate the situation and consider what, if any, additional support may be required to address the special needs of children attending the school.
