327 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the reports that Ireland has the second highest level of paedophile activity in Europe; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4008/99]
I refer the Deputy to my replies to Parliamentary Questions on 27 January 1999 on 4 February 1999 and on 10 February 1999.
As I have already indicated, the report to which the Deputy refers is expected to be available within the next few weeks. Upon receipt, it will be examined in detail to assess its implications.
