143 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she will report on the preparation of a conservation plan for Roundstone Bog; the date of publication; the timetable for its implementation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6322/99]
A draft conservation plan is being prepared for Roundstone Bog – a proposed special area of conservation – which will be presented to the local SAC liaison committee for consideration. The plan will be for a five year term. Implementation will proceed following approval by me. At this juncture, it is not possible to detail a precise timetable for these events but I hope that the plan will be published before the end of the summer.
