48 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Defence the provision, if any, he will make for members of the Naval Service and, in particular, the son of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 who has been transferred from Phibsborough to Cobh; if he will make housing available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is proposed that, with effect from 1 July 1999, Naval Service headquarters will be located at the Naval Base, Haulbowline. All issues, including the accommodation of personnel currently serving at Naval Service headquarters, Dublin, will be examined in the general context of relocation planning which is ongoing.
With regard to the individual in question, suitable living accommodation is available for single personnel at the Naval Base, Haulbowline.
