Vol. 502 No. 5

Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

60 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Finance the reason a full rebate of income tax has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath who was made redundant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8637/99]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that a cheque for £195.63 together with a balancing statement for 1998-99 was issued to the taxpayer on 12 March 1999. No further refund is due.
