Vol. 504 No. 2

Written Answers. - School Accommodation.

Tony Gregory

Question:

335 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for his Department's plans to withdraw the use of rooms at St. Finbarr's school, Cabra West, Dublin 7, which will leave the local youth services and crèche without accommodation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11667/99]

The planning and building unit of my Department is unaware of plans to withdraw the use of rooms at St. Finbarrs school, Cabra West, Dublin 7. However, it should be pointed out that priority in all cases is given to the requirement for essential classroom accommodation, which is the primary purpose of the school.
