895 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education and Science the position of the planned renovations at Meath Hill national school, Meath Hill, Drumconrath, Navan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18016/99]

My Department has received an application for additional accommodation at Meath Hill national school. This application is being considered by my Department's planning section on the basis of projected enrolments and demographic trends in the general area, together with a report from the school inspector on the accommodation needs of the school.
