238 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has received an application from Scoil an Linbh Íosa for a full-time resource teacher; when the request will be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19241/99]
The school in question currently has the services of a resource teacher on a shared basis. My Department has received an application for a full-time resource teacher post at the school. The case put forward by the school is currently being examined by my Department's inspectorate. As soon as the inspectorate has reported, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities.
