Question:

352 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education and Science when a capital maintenance works grant will be made to St Joseph's primary school, Kilmactranny, County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19841/99]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 351 and 352 together.

An application has been received from the manager of Kilmactranny national school, County Sligo, for grant aid towards various works to the school. My Department's planning and building unit is currently assessing the future accommodation requirements of the school. When this examination is complete a decision on the matter will be conveyed to the manager of the school.
