Vol. 509 No. 6

Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.

Pat Carey

Question:

296 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21389/99]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that while the taxpayer had an overpayment of income tax in the 1998-99 tax year, a review of his tax liabilities for the years 1994/95 to 1998/99 inclusive has established that he has a net underpayment of £344.79 over those years. Therefore, no refund is due.
