423 Ms Clune asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 553 of 29 September 1999, he will list the 11 sanitary authorities requested to report to him; the eight that reported back to him; the measures these eight authorities indicated they would be taking to remedy the situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The following local authorities were asked to submit reports to my Department in relation to the findings of the EPA drinking water quality report for 1997: Kildare County Council, Cork County Council, Monaghan County Council, Kilkenny County Council, Wicklow County Council, Kerry County Council, Cork Corporation, Sligo Corporation, Wicklow Urban District Council and Drogheda Corporation.
Replies have been received from all authorities other than Kerry County Council and Wicklow Urban District Council and I am arranging to have copies furnished to the Deputy.
