263 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the number of civil servants appointed by her and her Ministers of State to look after constituency matters; the costs involved; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5109/00]

There are four civil servants employed in my constituency office and three civil servants employed in the constituency office of my Minister of State.

The total salary cost of the staff in question is £111,727 per annum.
