53 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the cost of line A of the Luas project from Tallaght to Abbey Street; and the way in which this estimate compares with the £183 million estimate provided in mid-1999. [6498/00]
I will submit to Government, in the next few weeks, proposals for a firm budget estimate for the capital costs of the light rail line between Tallaght and Abbey Street. I will announce the details after the matter has been considered and approved by the Government.
