Question:

319 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the sections of the Department which restrict the time available to take calls form the public; the length of time this has been ongoing; the nature of the restrictions; the proposals, if any, he has to remedy this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Apart from the normal closure times applying to the offices and sections of my Department there are no restrictions in place on the time during which members of the public can make inquiries, either in person or by phone, to my Department.
