129 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources whether a pier (details supplied) in County Kerry is in his Department's ownership; if not, the owner of the pier; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10603/00]

Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources (Mr. Fahey):

The pier in question is not in my Department's ownership. As local piers are normally the responsibility of the local authority concerned, Kerry County Council may be able to assist the Deputy in identifying the owner of the pier.
