Question:

72 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the steps she is taking to secure the safety of the collection of valuable material stored in Mountjoy House in the Phoenix Park in view of the state of the premises and the reported collapse of the roof; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am glad to inform the Deputy that new accommodation has been provided by the Office of Public Works to house the staff and records of the placenames branch of my Department. Occupation will take place as soon as the offices in question can be redecorated.

For the record, I wish to inform the Deputy that no roof collapse occurred in any building at the location which is occupied or used for storage by the placenames branch.
