Vol. 518 No. 4

Written Answers. - School Accommodation.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

277 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has given any further consideration to the provision of a secondary level school at Kill, County Kildare; if he has received or made any submissions in respect of this matter recently; if he will take any initiative in the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12026/00]

No recent submission concerning the need for a post-primary school in Kill has been received in my Department.

The overall trend of housing developments in the general area will continue to be monitored so as to ensure sufficiency of educational provision at first and second level.
