Vol. 519 No. 2

Written Answers. - Western Investment Fund.

John Bruton

Question:

122 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if the Western Investment Fund has begun its work; and when he expects that the first investments under the programme will be made. [13297/00]

I am advised by the Western Development Commission that it is now in the process of evaluating a number of projects for assistance from the Western Investment Fund and hopes to be in a position to approve the first investments by July next.
