124 Mr. Moloney asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if will waive the 20% clawback on the milk quota in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Laois in view of his relationship to the leasee. [13422/00]
The lease referred to by the Deputy is effective for five years from 31 March 2000 and comes under the scope of the 1995 milk quota regulations. As it does not qualify for one of the specified exceptions to the application of the milk quota clawback measure outlined in paragraph 2 of notice No. 266/20, it was, therefore, liable for clawback at the rate of 20%.
