Vol. 519 No. 3

Written Answers - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Question:

185 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason it will take over three months for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 to have exploratory tests performed at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin, to establish the medical condition of this person; if his Department will contact the said hospital to highlight the case of this person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13893/00]

The responsibility for the provision of services at St. Vincent's Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4, rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive officer of the authority to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
