Written Answers. - Victim Support Services.

Nora Owen

Question:

187 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Health and Children the support services available for counselling of rape victims throughout each health board area; if he will have investigations made into the lack of services for certain rape victims who, because of their age, are either too young for adult services and too old for services offered by Crumlin Hospital; the plans if any, he has to address this inadequacy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14924/00]

My Department has asked each of the health boards to provide the information requested by the Deputy. I will forward the information to the Deputy as soon as possible.
