Written Answers. - Local Authority Housing.
The allocations made to each local authority for 2000 under the scheme of improvement works in lieu of local authority housing are set out in the following table. My Department recently advised local authorities of these allocations and informed them that should they require additional funds under the scheme it is open to them to make adjustments within their overall housing capital allocations to cater for any increased demand for improvement works that may arise.
