Vol. 520 No. 4

Written Answers. - Family Support Services.

John Perry

Question:

124 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress that has been made with an application (details supplied) for funding for St. Michael's Family Life Centre, County Sligo; if he will ensure that funding is provided in view of the comprehensive programme that this centre provides to improve the functioning of the family unit; and the amount of moneys that will be allocated. [16020/00]

There is no record of an application for funding in the Department of Health and Children from this organisation. I am aware that the North-Western Health Board has received an application from St. Michael's Family Life Centre. It is currently being considered by the board and St. Michael's will be notified of the funding allocation as soon as a decision has been reached.
