Question:

147 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the EU directives, under the aegis of his Department that are outstanding and remain to be implemented in Irish law to date. [17974/00]

The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the following table.

While every effort is made to implement directives by the due implementation date, the demands on staff and other resources as well as specific legal difficulties have led to delays in certain cases.
