219 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the assistance, if any, that can be given to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who is a patient in a private nursing home for over two years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17955/00]

As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services in County Waterford is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this matter and respond to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
