162 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if, further to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 100 of 1 June 2000 by the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs, he will outline the actions by his officials in the matter of a dispute between a local authority and a local Traveller development group ( details supplied). The issue in dispute between the local authority and the local Traveller support group does not relate to matters which are within the remit of my Department. In the circumstances the question of intervention by my Department does not arise.
