205 Mr. M. Moynihan asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position in relation to the refurbishment of Kiskeam national school, Kiskeam, Mallow, County Cork. [22569/00]

My Department is prepared to consider an application from the board of management of Kiskeam national school for grant-aid towards improved accommodation.

An application form was forwarded to the school last July.

206 Mr. M. Moynihan asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position in relation to the new windows and doors for Derrinagree national school, Derrinagree, Mallow, County Cork. [22570/00]

An application from the management authorities of Derrinagree national school, Mallow, County Cork for grant-aid towards the replacement of doors and windows is being processed as quickly as possible having regard to the large volume of applications on hand within my Department.

The school authorities will be notified of progress as it happens.
