145 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will consider making special grant aid available to Cork County Council to enable it to upgrade the Fota Road, Cobh, County Cork, particularly in view of the forthcoming Irish Open; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to Question No. 161 of 7 June 2000. It is open to Cork County Council to seek funding for this project when submitting its applications for 2001 under the specific improvement grants scheme, which are due in my Department by 17 November 2000.
