319 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the legislation which is required to be introduced to implement public private partnership projects under the national development plan which come under his Departmental control; when he will publish any such legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has responsibility for a number of measures under the national development plan. These include the equal opportunities child care programme; an equality for women measure; an equal opportunities promotion and monitoring unit; a measure to prepare prisoners for employment after their release; a crime prevention measure and a Garda youth diversion development programme.
These measures will not involve public private partnership arrangements.
