Vol. 529 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Denis Naughten

Question:

689 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon being called for keyhole surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9; when this person will be called; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1999/01]

The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons is, in this instance, the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
