1010 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total number of Garda stations in the Roscommon-east Galway Garda division currently without a Garda appointed to them; the location of these stations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1264/01]
I am informed by the Garda authorities who are responsible for the detailed allocation of personnel to individual areas that there are no Garda stations in the division of Roscommon/Galway east without Garda personnel appointed to them.
1011 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total number of Garda stations within the Roscommon-east Galway division with a Garda appointed who is not residing in the station; the location of these stations, if any; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities who are responsible for the detailed allocation of personnel to individual areas that there are three Garda stations in the division of Roscommon-Galway east with official accommodation which are currently unoccupied. For security reasons, the Garda Commissioner does not wish to release the location of these stations and I am sure that the Deputy will understand this.
1012 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total number of Garda stations in the Roscommon-east Galway division without mobile telephone antennae installed; the location of these stations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1266/01]
I have been informed by the Garda authorities that 34 of the Garda stations in the Roscommon-east Galway division do not have mobile telephone antennae installed.
These stations are in the following locations: Athleague, Ballyforan, Ballygar, Creggs, Knockgroghery, Strokestown, Ahascragh, Clonark, Kilconnell, Kiltormer, Menlough, Mountbellew, Moylough, Taughmaconnell, Ballyfarnon, Cootehall, Elphin, Frenchpark, Keadue, Tulsk, Ballaghadereen, Ballinlough, Ballintubber, Ballymore, Loughglynn, Barnaderg, Corofin, Glenmaddy, Kilconly, Dunmore, Miltown, Williamstown, Castlerea and Ballinasloe.
