Question:

130 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have investigations made into an application for subvention by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny which was refused. [4076/01]

The provision of health services in the Kilkenny area is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.

131 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a review of the payments for subvention made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will be undertaken; and the refund which is due based on the recent decision of the Ombudsman regarding nursing home subventions. [4077/01]

The provision of health services in the County Kilkenny area is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
