125 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the number of rail accidents which have taken place in the past 12 months; the type of incident and reason for the incident; the rail line involved; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5541/01]

My Department, in liaison with Iarnród Éireann, is compiling the statistics requested by the Deputy and these will be forwarded to him as soon as they are available.
