Vol. 533 No. 3

Written Answers. - Accident and Emergency Services.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

214 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate matters at Waterford Regional Hospital (details supplied) with regard to the situation in the accident and emergency department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8965/01]

The provision of services at Waterford Regional Hospital is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer at the board to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
