402 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will report on the progress of the Castlerea sewerage scheme in view of the recent steering group meeting with Roscommon County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11724/01]
Stage 1 of this scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2000-2002 to commence construction in 2002. Contract documents received from Roscommon County Council in February, and a county engineer's report received in April, are being examined in my Department. A decision will be made as soon as possible.
