Vol. 536 No. 2

Written Answers - Garda Stations.

Brendan Howlin

Question:

388 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to a campaign by local residents for the location of a Garda station in the village of Adamstown, County Wexford; if this request will be actively considered; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13675/01]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are currently considering proposals in relation to the location of a Garda station in Adamstown and that it is expected that a submission in the matter will be made to me in due course. I assure the Deputy that I will carefully consider any proposals submitted to me in the matter.
