146 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will now consider making arrangements to replace equipment (details supplied) in County Cork which is the responsibility of his Department. [15527/01]
In my answer to Parliamentary Question No. 97 on 12 April 2001 to the Deputy, I clarified the position regarding my Department's responsibility in the matter of the equipment the subject of this question.
The local trustees are in contact with the public trustee, who is an officer of my Department, regarding payment from the trust fund administered by him. However, the total amount of money available in the fund is only a portion of the figure outlined in the question.
