Vol. 538 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Denis Naughten

Question:

221 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason there is no dietician appointed to the Roscommon County Hospital; when such an appointment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17850/01]

The appointment of a dietician to the Roscommon County Hospital in this instance is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of that board to investigate the position in relation to this matter and to reply to the Deputy directly.
