Question:

309 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of home help personnel and public health nurses in each health board area; and the cost of each of these services. [23071/01]

Figures relating to the current cost of the home help and public health nursing service are not readily available in my Department. I am seeking this information from the relevant agencies, as a matter of urgency, and I will pass on the information to the Deputy, as soon as it becomes available. The number of home help personnel and public health nurses in each health board area is as shown in the following table:
