204 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason for the delay in a response issuing to Deputy Dukes regarding representations made on 13 March 2001 (details supplied); and if he will arrange for a reply to issue. [23429/01]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh):

The circumstances regarding the delay in replying to the Deputy's representations are being investigated by my Department. In any event, I am arranging for a reply to be sent to the Deputy before the end of this week.
