The Athboy sewerage scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme, 2000-02, as a scheme to advance through planning.

Meath County Council has submitted a brief for the appointment of consultants to prepare a preliminary report for the scheme. This is under examination in my Department and will be dealt with as soon as possible.
