105 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Finance the situation regarding the transfer of State laboratories from the site of Campus Ireland in Abbotstown to a new location at Backweston Farm outside Lucan; if projected costs are still on track; and if he is in a position to provide an indicative timetable for the completion of the transfer. Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Cullen):

Tenders for the construction of the new laboratories will be invited shortly, with completion expected in late 2004. The estimated cost of the project remains at £157 million which includes siteworks, construction costs, VAT, design team fees, inflation etc.
