Vol. 544 No. 1

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Question:

207 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will reconsider a decision to refuse an application by a person (details supplied) for a holiday visa; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28281/01]

Records held in my Department indicate that the application in question was refused in May 2000. It is not my Department's practice to consider appeals following such a considerable lapse of time since the original application. It is, however, open to the applicant to make a fresh application together with up to date supporting documentation and the matter will be considered anew.
