326 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Dublin will have his application for a general medical services contract for over 70's decided on; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28885/01]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for the processing of applications for GMS contracts in this case rests with the East Coast Area Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
