Question:138 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if an application by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo for free fuel allowance will be reassessed. [30321/01]

The entitlement of the person concerned to a fuel allowance will be reinvestigated by a local officer of my Department. As soon as the necessary enquiries have been completed, a decision will be made on his eligibility and he will be notified accordingly.
