179 Mr. Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny) asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of schools which had been given approval for renovations and had that approval withdrawn; and the number of such schools which have been restored to their original position of approval. [30393/01]

I am informed by my Department's building unit that it is not aware of any school building projects where grant aid which had already been approved has been withdrawn.
